Biking Events - news from Sustrans

Thought you might be interested in some events happening this month in north Belfast, and maybe passing the information on to pupils or sticking up a poster.
It’s all part of the legacy of the Giro d’Italia – the Piccolo Fondo includes various family events, some of which are based on the Limestone Road. I’ve put some info below and attached a flyer.

There will be FREE cycle training and bike checks during June. The cycle training is open to all ages, although children must be able to cycle unaided and be accompanied by an adult, and is to improve your confidence and skills on the road. The sessions also provide a basic bike check, repairing minor problems and showing you how to fix punctures.
On Saturday 20 June, Sustrans is organising 4 led bike rides for all the family along radial routes into the Titanic Quarter for the Northern Ireland Festival of Cycling. One route is from Hazelbank Park, Newtownabbey with a pick up point at Yorkgate Station.
