What a great night we had at our science evening celebrating British Science Week 2019. The theme this year was journeys and as part of this we programmed robotic cars to make a journey from the start to the finish of the race track. Special thanks to Kevin from Sentinus for facilitating the event. There was a great atmosphere in the hall and some very competitive teams especially the parents!

The School Council girls did all the planning leading up to the event and worked tirelessly throughout the day to make sure every class got an opportunity to swap books. We all had lots of fun at this week's Families Connect workshop. We talked about praise and building confidence to support children in their learning. The girls loved helping mummies, grannies and daddies to create their Family Star Award. I hope you're all trying really hard to receive your awards at home. Lots more to look forward to next week 😀
After a year of absence due to our Hall being refurbished, Fitness Freddie was back again on Valentine's Day (14th) for a great fun filled day of exercise. All the children got sponsorship and they had a ball dancing and singing along. There was also an important message about keeping fit in our daily lives and avoiding those energy drinks which should not be consumed by the under 16s, according to manufacturers themselves. The girls raised an impressive £1400. Thank you all!
